Le Balcon

Best For:

• Evening theater productions and live performances
• Music concerts and recitals
• Comedy shows and cabaret-style entertainment
• Intimate theater productions (capacity-dependent)

Estimated Budget Range: $1,500–$5,000+ per event. Since pricing requires direct contact, actual costs will depend on performance type, duration, technical requirements, and day of week. Weekday rates (Tuesday–Thursday) are typically lower than weekend bookings. Budget additional funds for technical support, lighting, and sound based on your production needs.

What planners usually like:

• Prime location on Rue Sainte-Catherine, Montreal's entertainment district, with good foot traffic and accessibility
• Evening-focused operating hours (5:30–11:00 PM) align well with theater and live entertainment scheduling
• Direct communication and responsive management make the booking and planning process straightforward
• Dedicated performing arts focus means staff understand technical requirements for shows

Things to clarify before booking:

• Confirm exact seating capacity and stage specifications to ensure they match your production needs
• Request detailed breakdown of what's included (lighting, sound, house management) versus what requires additional rental or crew
• Verify technical capabilities—ask about sound system quality, lighting rig capacity, and any restrictions on equipment you can bring
• Understand cancellation policies and rain-date procedures, particularly important for time-sensitive bookings
