Plaza Universel

Best For:

• Mid-sized wedding ceremonies and receptions (capacity to be confirmed)
• Couples seeking a Montreal-based venue with weekday flexibility
• Events requiring extended evening hours (Thursday/Friday availability until 8:00 PM)
• Local Montreal market events with straightforward logistics

Estimated Budget Range: Contact the venue directly for pricing. Based on it being a dedicated wedding venue in Montreal, expect moderate to mid-range costs typical for the market ($3,000–$8,000+ depending on guest count, day of week, and package inclusions). Note: This is an estimate only; actual pricing varies significantly based on season, guest count, and services included.

What planners usually like:

• Extended hours on Thursday and Friday evenings, useful for ceremonies with later receptions
• Clear communication approach—the venue actively engages with clients during planning
• Accessible location on Sherbrooke East with consistent business hours for coordination calls
• Responsive contact team available by phone for direct conversation

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity limits — confirm maximum guest count to ensure it fits your event size
• What's included — request detailed pricing breakdown (venue rental, tables, chairs, linens, kitchen access, bar setup, etc.)
• Saturday/Sunday constraints — note the limited hours (3:00 PM Saturday, 12:00 PM Sunday); confirm if your timeline works
• In-house vs. external services — clarify whether you can bring your own catering, florist, and music, or if preferred vendors are required
• Setup/breakdown time — confirm available hours before and after your event time slot
