Planner's guide
Best For: Community gatherings, casual outdoor celebrations, daytime sports-related events, intimate weddings or receptions (pending capacity confirmation)
Estimated Budget Range: $800–$2,500+ for venue rental. As a sports club with waterfront access, expect moderate pricing typical of semi-public recreational facilities. Actual costs depend heavily on guest count, season, and what's included (tables, chairs, basic utilities). Contact directly for precise quotes.
What planners usually like:
- Natural lakeside setting provides scenic backdrop without additional decoration costs
- Location on Roberts St offers reasonable accessibility for Vancouver-area guests
- Sports club setting suggests practical infrastructure (parking, basic facilities) already in place
- Responsive team willing to work through logistics with event organizers
Things to clarify before booking:
- Capacity limits – The lack of specified capacity makes planning difficult; confirm maximum guest count and whether it varies by season or event type
- What's included – Clarify what amenities come with rental (tables, chairs, kitchen access, restrooms, weather protection, parking, setup/breakdown time)
- Restrictions and policies – Ask about noise limits, alcohol policies, outside catering permissions, and any sports club membership requirements for rental
- Weather contingency – As an outdoor pavilion, understand backup plans for rain and whether indoor space is available or if you need to arrange a tent
