The Ivy Room At Tree Studios

Planner Insight

Best For: Corporate events and meetings, small to mid-size celebrations, private gatherings, creative industry events (given the Tree Studios building context)

Estimated Budget Range: $1,500–$5,000+ for venue rental (estimate based on downtown Chicago location and event venue classification; actual costs depend on date, time, and guest count). Contact directly for confirmed pricing, as this varies significantly by event type and duration.

What planners usually like:

• Prime downtown location on East Ohio Street with good walkability and access to Chicago's River North neighborhood
• Seven-day availability with extended business hours (10 AM–5 PM daily) simplifies scheduling and allows flexibility for different event times
• Direct contact line and active website suggest responsive management and straightforward booking process
• Located within Tree Studios building, which may offer creative aesthetics or additional venue options for larger groups

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity limits – The unlisted capacity is essential; confirm guest count maximums to ensure your event size fits
• Included amenities – Clarify what's provided (tables, chairs, AV equipment, lighting, kitchen access) versus what requires additional rental
• Setup/breakdown time – Confirm whether the 10 AM–5 PM hours include setup time or if your event must conclude by 5 PM
• Pricing structure – Ask whether rates are hourly, flat rental fees, or tiered by guest count, and what additional fees may apply (staffing, parking, catering restrictions)
