The Cambrian Hall

Best For: Community events, small corporate meetings, workshops, cultural gatherings, and daytime functions

Estimated Budget Range: Without published pricing, expect to budget $500–$2,500+ depending on event size and duration. Vancouver event venues in this category typically range from $300–$3,000+. Contact the venue directly for accurate quotes, as pricing often varies significantly based on day of week and guest count.

What planners usually like:

• Weekday availability with flexible hours (10:30 AM–6:00 PM Tue–Thu, extended to 9:30 PM Friday) works well for workshops, daytime seminars, and evening receptions
• East 17th Ave location in Vancouver provides reasonable accessibility for local attendees
• Direct contact approach allows for personalized discussions about specific event needs and potential custom arrangements

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity details: Get exact guest count limits and whether the space is divisible—this is critical for budgeting and logistics
• Weekend availability: Confirm whether Saturday/Sunday bookings are possible, as standard hours show closure; many planners need weekend options
• Included amenities: Ask about tables, chairs, A/V equipment, kitchen access, parking, and setup/breakdown time—these significantly impact total event costs
• Cancellation and booking policies: Understand deposit requirements, cancellation terms, and how far in advance you need to reserve, especially given limited weekly availability
