Tokyo International Forum

The Tokyo International Forum, located in the heart of Tokyo’s Marunouchi district, is a premier convention and arts center that stands out for its stunning architectural design. Completed in 1997 and designed by Uruguayan-born architect Rafael Viñoly, the forum is recognized for its soaring glass atrium, which resembles the hull of a ship. This atrium is a remarkable 60 meters tall and features approximately 3,600 pieces of glass, making it one of the most distinctive landmarks in Tokyo. The venue spans a total floor area of 145,000 square meters, with a site area of 27,000 square meters.

Tokyo International Forum comprises eight halls of varying sizes, with the largest being Hall A, which has a seating capacity of 5,012. Hall E is an expansive exhibition space covering 5,000 square meters. The venue also offers 31 conference rooms that can accommodate various event sizes, from small meetings to large international conferences.

In addition to its function as a convention center, Tokyo International Forum is a hub for cultural activities, hosting art exhibitions, concerts, and theatrical performances. The venue features numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops, along with a public plaza adorned with greenery and art installations.

The forum’s central location makes it easily accessible via major transportation hubs, including Tokyo Station and Yurakucho Station, further enhancing its appeal as a top destination for events.
