What planners usually like:

• Historic character at a downtown Minneapolis location (212 2nd St SE) that provides distinctive ambiance without requiring extensive decoration
• Reputation for clear communication and responsive client service, which reduces planning friction
• Flexibility in working with various event types, suggesting adaptable space configurations

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity and room breakdown – Confirm total capacity and whether the space can be divided for concurrent events or sized down for smaller gatherings
• Inclusive amenities – Get a detailed list of what's provided (tables, chairs, linens, AV equipment, lighting, kitchen facilities) versus what requires additional rental
• Event logistics – Ask about parking availability, load-in/load-out procedures, setup time allowances, and any restrictions on outside vendors or catering
• Cancellation and payment policies – Clarify deposit requirements, payment schedule, and cancellation terms before committing
