Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens

Leopold's Mississippi Gardens - Planner Insight

Best For:

• Outdoor garden ceremonies and receptions
• Riverside celebrations (weddings, anniversaries, milestone events)
• Smaller to mid-sized intimate gatherings
• Seasonal events capitalizing on natural landscape

Estimated Budget Range: Without published pricing, budget estimates are difficult to determine. Riverside garden venues in the Minneapolis market typically range from $2,000–$8,000+ for venue rental depending on guest count, season, and services included. Request a formal quote directly to understand what's included and any add-on costs (catering, setup, tables/chairs, parking). Actual costs may vary significantly based on your specific needs.

What planners usually like:

• Natural riverside setting reduces need for extensive décor and provides scenic backdrop for photography
• Established venue with demonstrated track record of managing events
• Direct communication approach—team appears accessible and willing to customize arrangements
• Location on W River Rd offers scenic Minneapolis positioning

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity specifics: Confirm maximum guest count and whether capacity varies by event type or season
• Included vs. à la carte services: Determine what's provided (tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, basic setup) versus rented separately
• Weather contingencies: Clarify indoor backup space availability and weather-related policies given the outdoor garden focus
• Restrictions and logistics: Ask about noise ordinances, event duration limits, decorating guidelines, vendor requirements, and parking capacity for guests and service providers
