Scottish Cultural Centre

Best For:

• Scottish heritage celebrations and cultural events
• Small to mid-sized banquets and formal dinners
• Community gatherings and organizational functions
• Weekday corporate events and luncheons

Estimated Budget Range: Contact the venue directly for pricing. Based on it being a dedicated banquet hall in Vancouver, expect to budget $1,500–$4,000+ for room rental depending on guest count and day of week, plus catering costs. This is an estimate; actual pricing may vary significantly based on capacity and services included.

What planners usually like:

• Specialized venue with cultural identity, which can reduce styling needs for themed events
• Extended Saturday hours (9 AM–5 PM) provide flexibility for weekend events
• Direct contact line available for straightforward communication and custom arrangements
• Location on Hudson St offers reasonable accessibility within Vancouver

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity details — Get exact guest count limits; this significantly impacts event type feasibility and pricing
• Amenities and inclusions — Confirm what's provided (tables, chairs, kitchen access, AV equipment, parking) versus what requires additional rental
• Catering policy — Determine if outside catering is permitted or if the venue has preferred/in-house options
• Weekend and evening availability — Given limited posted hours (closed Sundays, limited weekday hours), confirm whether your preferred date/time is actually available before planning around it
