Jamuna Banquets

Best For: Small to mid-sized weddings, engagement parties, corporate events, and community celebrations in central Kolkata

Estimated Budget Range: ₹2,00,000 – ₹8,00,000+ depending on guest count and services. Since pricing requires direct contact, actual costs may vary significantly based on catering, décor, and event date. Weekend rates typically higher than weekdays.

What planners usually like:

• Central Esplanade location with good accessibility via Dharmatala, reducing guest travel time across the city
• Extended operating hours (9:00 AM – 12:00 AM most days) provide flexibility for events with multiple time slots or back-to-back functions
• Established banquet hall with reliable operations, suggesting experience handling local events and vendor coordination
• Contact-based pricing model allows negotiation and customization based on specific requirements

Things to clarify before booking:

• Exact capacity and layout options – Confirm guest capacity and whether the space can be divided for multiple simultaneous events or configured differently
• Amenities and inclusions – Get detailed specifics on what's provided (tables, chairs, lighting, sound system, kitchen facilities, parking) versus what requires external vendors
• Catering policy – Determine if in-house catering is mandatory, what the cost structure is, or if outside catering is permitted with restrictions
• Peak season availability and rates – Confirm weekend/holiday pricing, advance booking requirements, and cancellation/rescheduling policies before committing
