Vibiana

Best For:

• Upscale weddings and black-tie celebrations
• Corporate galas and fundraising events
• Intimate ceremonies (under 400 guests) seeking distinctive architectural backdrops
• Cultural events and formal dinner parties

Estimated Budget Range: $15,000–$40,000+ for venue rental plus catering (estimate based on historic downtown LA locations, in-house catering, and 400-person capacity). Actual costs vary significantly by date, guest count, and service level. Request detailed pricing breakdown including catering minimums, rental fees, and service charges.

What planners usually like:

• Distinctive Italian Baroque architecture eliminates need for extensive décor; the space itself is a major visual asset
• In-house catering streamlines logistics and ensures consistent food quality (James Beard recognition is noteworthy)
• Outdoor courtyard provides flexibility for ceremonies, cocktail hours, or photo opportunities
• Downtown LA location offers urban accessibility and photo opportunities

Things to clarify before booking:

• Confirm total catering costs per person, beverage packages, and whether outside catering is permitted
• Verify event hour restrictions, setup/breakdown timeframes, and any noise ordinances affecting evening events
• Understand what's included in venue rental versus add-on fees (tables, linens, lighting, restroom facilities)
• Clarify capacity breakdown—how the 400-person limit distributes between indoor cathedral space and outdoor courtyard, and whether both areas are available simultaneously
