The IATSE Ballroom

Best For: Corporate banquets and galas; wedding receptions; formal fundraising events; union or association functions

Estimated Budget Range: $2,500–$8,000+ for a standard event (estimate based on Philadelphia banquet hall market rates). Actual costs will depend on guest count, catering choices, and add-on services. Contact the venue directly for formal pricing tied to your specific event date and requirements.

What planners usually like:

• Extended operating hours (10 AM–6 PM, Tuesday–Sunday) provide flexibility for both daytime and evening events
• Philadelphia location with accessible street address makes it easy for clients to visit and tour
• Dedicated banquet hall setup suggests the space is designed specifically for events rather than a multi-purpose facility
• IATSE affiliation may offer networking value or preferred vendor relationships for certain event types

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity and layout: Request exact guest count capacity and whether the space is divisible for smaller events
• Catering and bar services: Confirm whether in-house catering is required, if outside vendors are permitted, and what beverage options/licensing apply
• Included amenities: Get a detailed list of what's provided (tables, chairs, linens, basic AV, lighting) versus what requires additional rental or fee
• Setup and breakdown times: Verify whether your event time includes setup/breakdown or if those are separate charges, especially important given the venue's daytime operating hours
