The Grand on Princes Reception Centre

Best For:

• Wedding receptions and engagement parties
• Corporate functions and business events
• Birthday celebrations and milestone parties
• Community events and social gatherings

Estimated Budget Range: Without published pricing, budget estimates are difficult to determine. Contact the venue directly for quotes, but Melbourne reception venues typically range from $2,000–$8,000+ depending on guest count, catering, and add-ons. Actual costs will vary significantly based on your specific requirements.

What planners usually like:

• Consistent availability with extended hours (open 11 AM–5 PM daily), making it accessible for planning meetings and events throughout the week
• Established reputation for clear communication with clients, which streamlines the booking process
• Located on Princes Highway with accessible service road parking, convenient for guests traveling from across Melbourne
• Direct contact line (+61 452 501 836) allows quick responses to planning questions

Things to clarify before booking:

• Request specific capacity details for your guest count, as this isn't listed publicly and is essential for determining feasibility
• Ask for a detailed amenities list (catering facilities, AV equipment, tables, chairs, bar setup, parking availability) to understand what's included versus what you'll need to arrange separately
• Confirm whether the 11 AM–5 PM business hours apply to event hosting or only to inquiry/planning sessions, as this may limit evening event options
• Discuss pricing structure upfront—request package options and understand what's covered to avoid unexpected costs during final invoicing
