Common questions
Does RTM Stage accommodate both small intimate performances and larger concerts?
RTM Stage is designed to be flexible for various event sizes, but since capacity isn't publicly listed, you'll need to contact them directly at +31 10 293 3300 to confirm whether your specific guest count is suitable. This is particularly important for determining stage setup, sightline quality, and technical requirements.
What's included in the venue rental, and are there additional costs for technical support?
Pricing and package details require direct contact with the venue. For concert halls, typical inclusions vary—some provide basic sound/lighting while others charge separately. Ask specifically about in-house technical staff, whether you can bring your own AV team, and what happens if you need extended setup time.
How much advance notice do I need to book RTM Stage?
While business hours suggest regular availability, concert venues often require 4–12 weeks' notice depending on the event type and time of year. Contact them early to check availability, especially for weekend slots or peak seasons in Rotterdam's event calendar.
Is parking available for performers and event attendees?
The venue is located within the Ahoy complex on Ahoyweg, which typically has parking facilities, but confirm specific arrangements (paid vs. complimentary, accessible spaces, load-in areas for equipment) when you contact the venue to finalize logistics.
Can I host a private corporate event or does RTM Stage focus mainly on public concerts?
While described as a concert hall supporting various organizers, clarify their experience with private bookings, whether they allow exclusive venue rental, and if they can accommodate hybrid setups (performance + networking/reception areas).
What's the best way to get technical details and compare RTM Stage with other Rotterdam venues?
Visit https://www.ahoy.nl/ for detailed specs and call +31 10 293 3300 to request a venue fact sheet or tour. Request information on acoustics, ceiling height, stage dimensions, and available technical add-ons so you can accurately compare with other Rotterdam concert halls.
