Northern Lights Hall

Best For:

• Corporate banquets and business events
• Wedding receptions and formal celebrations
• Community gatherings and cultural events
• Private parties and milestone celebrations

Estimated Budget Range: Without published pricing, estimates are difficult to establish. Banquet halls in Ottawa typically range from $1,500–$5,000+ for venue rental depending on guest count, day of week, and season. Catering and additional services will add significantly to total costs. Request a formal quote directly from the venue for accurate budgeting.

What planners usually like:

• Extended daily hours (10 AM–6:30 PM) allow flexibility for various event start times and formats
• Dedicated team reportedly maintains clear communication throughout the planning process, which streamlines decision-making
• Located on Michael Cowpland Drive in a commercial area with likely accessible parking and ease of client access
• Available seven days a week, including weekends, for scheduling flexibility

Things to clarify before booking:

• Confirm exact guest capacity, as this directly impacts event feasibility and pricing—ask about maximum occupancy and whether there are breakout spaces
• Request detailed amenities list, including tables, chairs, lighting, sound system, kitchen facilities, and bar setup to understand what's included versus what requires outside vendors
• Verify catering policies—whether in-house catering is required, if outside caterers are permitted, and any associated fees or restrictions
• Confirm cancellation and rescheduling policies, deposit requirements, and what happens if your event needs to move to a different date
