Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Center (LBICC)

Best For:

• Large corporate conferences and conventions (regional/national scale)
• Multi-day business summits and trade shows
• High-profile gala dinners and award ceremonies
• International delegations and government events

Estimated Budget Range: ₹5-15+ lakhs ($6,000-$18,000+ USD) for full venue rental, depending on event scale and duration. This estimate assumes premium positioning on Bolgatty Island adjacent to Grand Hyatt. Actual costs will vary significantly based on capacity, specific facilities used, catering options, and seasonal demand. Request itemized quotes directly from the venue.

What planners usually like:

• 24/7 operational availability removes scheduling constraints and accommodates last-minute changes or extended event hours
• Integrated hospitality with adjacent Grand Hyatt simplifies guest accommodation, reduces logistics complexity, and enables streamlined check-in processes
• Island location provides natural exclusivity and controlled guest access, useful for high-security or VIP events
• Established relationship with Hyatt ensures professional service standards and reliable vendor coordination

Things to clarify before booking:

• Confirm exact capacity and breakout room configurations—the lack of published specs suggests flexibility, but you need firm numbers for your attendee count
• Request detailed floor plans and technical specifications (AV capabilities, WiFi bandwidth, power supply) as these are critical for conventions
• Clarify what amenities are included vs. add-on costs (parking, catering through Hyatt vs. external caterers, setup/breakdown time)
• Understand cancellation policies and force majeure terms, particularly important for multi-month advance bookings
