Livingston Community Centre

Best For: Community gatherings, local workshops and classes, small-to-medium social events, nonprofit organization meetings

Estimated Budget Range: $300–$1,500+ per event (estimate only). Community centres typically charge modest hourly or flat rates, but actual costs depend on room selection, duration, and whether additional services are included. Contact the venue directly for confirmed pricing, as rates vary significantly based on your specific needs.

What planners usually like:

• Extended daily hours (9 AM–9 PM, seven days a week) provide scheduling flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening events
• Community centre positioning typically means competitive pricing compared to dedicated event venues
• Established local presence suggests reliable operations and familiarity with serving the Calgary area
• Direct contact line (+1 587-391-6239) allows quick clarification on availability and customization

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity and room breakdown — Confirm total capacity and whether the space can be divided into smaller rooms for concurrent sessions or scaled events
• Included amenities — Specify what's provided (tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment, kitchen facilities, parking) versus what requires additional rental or fees
• Setup and breakdown time — Ask about flexibility with arrival/departure times and whether these are included in the booking fee or charged separately
• Guest restrictions and policies — Confirm any limitations on alcohol, outside catering, decorations, or maximum occupancy to avoid surprises later
