Juante Estate

The venue's extended weekend hours (Friday 10:00 AM–1:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 AM–midnight) are ideal for weddings, engagement parties, and celebrations where dancing or late entertainment is planned. The weekday 5:00–10:00 PM window suits corporate after-work events, smaller intimate dinners, or rehearsal dinners. Sunday availability from 8:00 AM makes it suitable for brunch events, morning ceremonies, or casual family gatherings—a distinct advantage in Cape Town's market.

Since capacity isn't listed online, contact them directly at +27 73 335 8435 or via their website to discuss your expected guest numbers. Provide details about your event format (cocktail, seated dinner, standing reception) as this affects capacity calculations. This conversation will also help clarify available space configurations and whether outdoor areas can extend capacity during good weather.

Pricing requires direct contact with the venue. However, comparable mid-range Cape Town event venues typically range from R8,000–R25,000+ depending on day of week, guest count, and included services. Weekend bookings (especially Friday-Saturday) generally command premium rates. Request a detailed quote that specifies what's included (venue rental, tables, chairs, bar setup, staff) versus what requires external vendors.

This critical detail isn't specified in available information. Contact Juante Estate to confirm whether they have an in-house catering partner, allow external caterers, provide bar service, or require you to source everything independently. Some Cape Town venues charge corkage fees or have preferred vendor lists, so clarifying this upfront affects your overall budget and planning timeline significantly.

Located at the intersection of Vlei Road and Middle Avenue in Ottery, the venue is on major routes, but confirm parking capacity and whether it's complimentary, validated, or limited. If hosting a larger event, ask whether overflow parking arrangements exist nearby. This is particularly important for evening events where guest arrival times are concentrated.

The venue description focuses on flexible scheduling for "various occasions," suggesting adaptability, but you'll need to confirm whether ceremony spaces are available, what setup restrictions apply, and whether there are time gaps required between ceremony and reception. Ask about access to the venue for early setup and whether they accommodate multiple time blocks on the same day for ceremonies followed by receptions.
