Greenwood Park Hall – Durban North

The venue's exact capacity isn't listed online, which is common for municipal facilities. Contact them at +27 31 564 4678 to confirm whether the hall accommodates your expected guest count and if it can be partitioned for smaller concurrent events. This will directly impact your event design and pricing.

Amenities aren't detailed in the standard venue description. Before budgeting for external rentals, call ahead to ask what's included—municipal venues often provide basic furniture, but AV equipment and specialty items typically require additional fees or external suppliers.

This is essential to confirm directly with the venue. Many municipal halls have specific catering policies (some permit external caterers, others require approved vendors). Ask about kitchen access, food handling licenses needed, and whether there are restrictions on alcohol service.

The venue closes on Sundays and operates only until 1 PM on Saturdays, limiting weekend options significantly. If you need evening or full-day Saturday coverage, ask about special arrangements or premium bookings. This scheduling constraint may affect your event date flexibility.

Municipal venues often have booking windows (typically 4–12 weeks ahead) and specific payment terms. Call +27 31 564 4678 to confirm availability for your target date, required deposit percentage, and whether you can secure a date with a simple holding fee while finalizing details.

While located on Chris Hani Rd, specific parking capacity and accessibility features (wheelchair access, disabled facilities) aren't confirmed online. Visit or call ahead to assess parking sufficiency for your event size and verify that the venue meets any ADA or local accessibility requirements your guests may need.
