Common questions
Is Espace Wilson suitable for weekend events?
No—the venue operates Monday through Friday only and is closed Saturday and Sunday. This makes it ideal for weekday business events but not viable for typical weekend celebrations or social gatherings. Plan accordingly if your event must occur on weekends.
What's the venue's capacity, and can it be subdivided for breakout sessions?
Capacity specifics are not publicly listed on their site. Contact them directly at +33 6 60 17 56 64 to confirm total guest capacity and whether the space can be divided into multiple breakout rooms—this is essential for conference and seminar planning.
What technology and AV support is available?
Amenities are not detailed online. Before booking, ask specifically about projectors, screens, video conferencing setup, microphone systems, and WiFi reliability—especially important for business presentations and virtual hybrid events.
How accessible is the venue by public transport, and is parking available?
The venue sits on Boulevard du Président Wilson in central Bordeaux, which typically has good tram/bus access. However, confirm parking availability (on-site or nearby street parking) directly, as this significantly impacts guest experience for driving attendees.
What's the typical lead time needed for booking, and are there peak seasons?
Contact the team early to understand their booking calendar. Since they're closed weekends and only operate weekdays, Friday slots may book quickly. Ask about availability windows and whether certain months see higher demand for corporate events.
Can catering be arranged on-site, or must I use external vendors?
This is not specified in available information. Clarify their catering policy—whether they provide in-house catering, allow external caterers, or have preferred vendor partnerships—as this directly affects your event budget and logistics.
