Planner's guide
Best For: Corporate meetings and presentations, private parties and celebrations, community gatherings, small-to-medium sized social events
Estimated Budget Range: $1,500–$5,000+ for venue rental (estimate based on Chicago market rates for dedicated event spaces; actual costs depend on date, time, guest count, and services included). Contact the venue directly for precise pricing and package details.
What planners usually like:
- Extended weekend hours (open until 11:00 PM Saturday, 10:00 PM Friday) provide flexibility for evening events
- South State Street location offers reasonable accessibility within Chicago's South Side
- Responsive communication approach—the venue emphasizes clear contact and availability discussion
- Structured business hours allow for predictable booking and event setup windows
Things to clarify before booking:
- Confirm actual capacity limits, as this directly impacts guest count feasibility and pricing
- Request detailed amenity list (tables, chairs, AV equipment, kitchen access, bar service, WiFi, parking) to understand what's included vs. what requires additional rental
- Verify setup/breakdown time allowances and whether these extend your rental cost
- Ask about staffing support, event insurance requirements, and any restrictions on outside vendors or catering
