Event Description
We’re a young group of industry professionals who wanted to LEARN, SHOP and HAVE FUN all in one place without breaking the bank. We loved the mini shows all over the US but where was Canada, eh? We got tired of paying tons of money for the “big” shows before we even got through the doors to buy something. Our educator friends were tired of paying a fortune to show off their cool stuff. So we’re keeping things casual and affordable, this way everybody wins! And we all know, It’s All About the #Winning!

About Organizer
The Nail Tech Event of the Smokies was created by a nail tech in 2008 to bring affordable & accessible nail education to the South. The resort town of Gatlinburg, TN is within driving distance for 50% of the population East of the Mississippi, plus it's THE vacation capital of the South. The 1st sold out Event was held in a hotel ballroom, meeting the goal of 50 attendees & 6 educators, with nail icon Vicki Peters as the guest speaker. After outgrowing 2 different hotels within 4 years’ time, The Event made the leap into the Gatlinburg Convention Center in 2012 as a licensed, nails-only trade show.
