Event Description

The Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS), in collaboration with the Vancouver Geotechnical Society (VGS), invites you to GeoVancouver 2016, the 69th Canadian Geotechnical Conference. The Conference will be held from October 2nd to 5th, 2016 in Vancouver at the picturesque Westin Bayshore Hotel. The theme of the Conference is “History and Innovation”, recognizing the historical achievements and lessons learned over time while highlighting innovation in geotechnical engineering. The Conference will cover a wide range of topics with special sessions that are of local and national relevance to the field of geotechnical engineering. In addition to the technical program and plenary sessions, the Conference will include a complement of short courses, technical tours and social events.
