Event Description

SFE celebrates the motion picture arts, producing an annual film festival and a series of educational and entertaining film-based events throughout the year. Now in it’s third year, the Shelburne Film Expo brings the best of local and international filmmakers to Nova Scotia.

About Organizer

In 2015, SFE hosted the 34th Asbury Short Film Concert , New York's longest running short film showcase to Shelburne's Osprey Arts Centre. SFE also produced the second annual “Get Your Shorts On” Competition, a short film contest designed to promote the work of Nova Scotian filmmakers. In 2016, we will repeat the format with all new films and filmmakers. In addition, SFE will conduct the second annual Shelburne Film Camp (SFC), a week long introduction to all aspects of professional video production.
