MACEDONIAN UNION OF METALLURGISTS announces that the VII International Congress of Metalurgists of Macedonia – “METALLURGY, MATERIALS AND ENVIRONMENT” is scheduled for 09.06 till 12.06 2016 in Ohrid. The fame of the Ohrid Lake is widespread and there is no need to repeat it.
The scope of our Congress is to promote exchange of results and ideas in the fields of Metallurgy, Material Engineering and Environmental Protection and related sciences as well to foster collaboration between the academic and industral community.

About Organizer
The Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje is a prominent educational and scientific research institution, established in the distant 1959 year. Since 1965 it becomes a member of the SS. Cyril and Methodius University, and within its boundaries, the Faculty works until present day. In its multi-decade existence, the institution has made a significant contribution to the development of the Macedonian economy, primarily through provision of highly qualified and educated staff, while always following the modern market trends and scientific developments. In all these years it had produced a significant number of engineers, masters and PhDs, whose work left a mark in the development of the Macedonian society.
