Event Description
Housing Week is a new annual national event that aims to highlight the important role that housing plays for people, communities and the UK economy.The first Housing Week will take place between Monday 19 and Sunday 25 September 2016.This is a yearly date in the calendar where we can call the Government to account and use media stories to raise the profile of housing associations and engage the wider public. Housing Week will: Provide a platform to raise the profile of housing associations,Put pressure on decision makers and politicians to deliver on policies,Take stock of what housing associations have achieved year on year,Highlight housing associations’ central role in ending the housing crisis.
