Event Description

November 2 to 6, 2015. The city of Krasnoyarsk will host the 10th Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture. The Fair is run by the Mikhail Prokhorov Fund in the partnership with the Government of Krasnoyarsk region and the administration of the city of Krasnoyars. The main theme of Krasnoyarsk Fair of 2015 is “Homeland’s map: the artistic familiarization of space”. What is the Homeland begins with? How does a sum of territories become a symbolic unity called the country, nation, and fatherland in the perception of its population? The Fair’s organizers believe that the understanding of territorial unity comes, first of all, through the artistic imagination and cultural mastering of space.
