Hal Con Halifax 2016

Hal-Con needs you! Since 2010, this community-focused conference has brought some of the biggest names in the sci-fi, fantasy and gaming world to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Hal-Con attracts celebrities from galaxies far away like Billy Dee Williams (2013), René Auborjonois (2012), Erin Gray (2011) and Walter Koenig (2010). Halifax is the hub of the Maritimes and the perfect backdrop for Atlantic Canada’s biggest sci-fi, fantasy and gaming convention. Costumes welcome, families welcome, and nerds and geeks are definitely welcome! Come to Hal-Con 2015, October 30th – November 1st. Hal-Con is registered with the Province of Nova Scotia (Registry of Joint Stocks) as a society, granting NPO status. (#3235985) Giving back is important to us. Hal-Con supports our community and since our inception, we have continued to raise money for the IWK Children’s Hospital’s Child’s Play Charity. We support all walks of life. Hal-Con is a fan-run, family event where you can be yourself in a safe environment. Come see Atlantic Canada’s best cosplay and experience the Halifax sci-fi scene.
