Event Description

In the early 70s, one of the key achievements of the State of Senegal was the construction of the International Centre of Dakar Exchange (ICDE), inaugurated on the occasion of the first edition of the International Fair Dakar (FIDAK from 28 November to 15 December 1974), the President-poet Léopold Sédar Senghor, who in his inaugural speech, said: “the new international economic order more just and equitable, we intend to promote, can arise as a patient and methodical organization of meetings and exchanges.
