About these terms

EventsWow (eventswow.com) is an online directory of event venues, service providers and planners. The website is owned and run by Deepak Hasija, a sole proprietor based in New Delhi, India. In these terms, "EventsWow", "we" and "us" mean Deepak Hasija trading as EventsWow, and "you" means anyone who uses the site.

By using the site, sending an inquiry, creating an account, adding or claiming a listing or paying for a Featured listing, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the directory

Browsing, comparing listings and sending inquiries are free. When you send an inquiry, it goes to the business you chose, and you deal with that business directly.

We are a directory, not a party to your booking. Contracts, quotes, deposits, payments for events, cancellations and the quality of the service are between you and the business. We take no commission on bookings and are not responsible for what a business does or does not provide.

Listings are written by the businesses or gathered from public information. We work to keep them accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail (prices, capacity, availability, photos or hours) is current. Please confirm the details with the business before you book.

Accounts

You need an account to manage a listing. Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create one.

Listings and claims

If you add or claim a listing, you confirm that you own the business or are authorised to act for it, and that what you publish is accurate and not misleading.

You must have the right to use every photo, logo and text you upload. You keep ownership of it, and you give us a free, worldwide licence to show it on EventsWow and to use it to promote your listing and the directory for as long as it is on the site.

We may review, edit for format, decline or remove any listing or claim, for example if it is inaccurate, a duplicate, offensive, unlawful or breaks these terms. Basic listings are free and stay free.

Paid Featured listings

Businesses can pay to feature their listing. What a Featured listing includes (such as placement near the top of its city and category, a highlighted card and extra photos) is described on the Pricing page at the time you buy. Featured spots in each city and category are limited, so a spot is only yours once payment is complete.

Prices. The price and currency are shown at checkout before you pay. Customers in India pay in Indian rupees (₹) through Razorpay. Customers elsewhere pay through PayPal in the currency shown. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. If you buy at an offer price, you keep that price for as long as your listing stays featured without a break.

Period and renewal. You pay once for a month or a year. Nothing renews automatically and we never charge you again without your action. We email you about a week before your Featured period ends so you can renew if you want to.

No ranking guarantee. Featured listings get priority placement, but we do not guarantee a number of views, inquiries or bookings.

Delivery of the service

Featured listings are a digital service. Nothing is shipped. Your Featured placement starts automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed, and you will receive an email confirmation. If it has not started within 24 hours of a successful payment, contact us and we will fix it or refund you in full.

Cancellations and refunds

Within 7 days of payment: you can cancel and get a full refund. Email us or use the contact page with your listing name and the email you paid with. Your Featured placement ends when the refund is issued.

After 7 days: payments are non-refundable, and your listing stays featured until the end of the period you paid for. Because nothing renews automatically, there is nothing else to cancel.

Failed or duplicate payments: if you are charged twice, or charged when a payment failed, we refund the extra amount in full.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay or PayPal. We start the refund within 2 working days of approving it. Your bank or card company usually takes 5 to 7 working days to show it.

If we remove a Featured listing because it breaks these terms, the payment is not refunded. If we stop offering Featured listings, we refund the unused part of your period.

Payment providers

Payments are handled by Razorpay (India) and PayPal (everywhere else). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the payment. We do not see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• send spam, fake or misleading inquiries, or use inquiries to sell to businesses;
• copy or scrape listings or contact details in bulk, or reuse them elsewhere;
• impersonate a business or person, or claim a listing you are not authorised to manage;
• upload anything unlawful, offensive or that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site.

We may block inquiries, suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these rules.

Our content

The EventsWow name, logo, design and the content we create belong to us. You may share links to the site and view and print pages for your own use, but you may not copy, sell or republish the directory or its content without our written permission.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything a business or a customer does or fails to do. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account and listing. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at New Delhi, India. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also have rights under the laws of your own country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our services change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect a Featured period you have already paid for.
