Sherwood Park Hall | Community Venue Ofsted Childcare & SEND Support

Best For: Community gatherings, family-friendly events, children's activities and workshops, nonprofit organization meetings

Estimated Budget Range: £150–£400 per session (3–4 hours), though actual costs may vary significantly. Contact the venue directly for precise pricing, as community centers often offer tiered rates based on organization type, time slot, and day of week.

What planners usually like:

• Extended hours (7 AM–10 PM daily) provide genuine scheduling flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening events
• Ofsted registration and dedicated SEND support indicate proper safeguarding protocols and accessibility consideration—valuable for family-focused or inclusive events
• Community venue positioning typically means reasonable pricing compared to commercial halls, plus genuine mission alignment with nonprofit and local organizations

Things to clarify before booking:

• Capacity details: The unlisted capacity is crucial—confirm exact room dimensions, whether the space is divisible, and maximum occupancy to ensure it fits your guest count
• Amenities and equipment: Confirm what's included (tables, chairs, kitchen facilities, AV equipment, parking) versus what requires rental or setup
• Availability for your dates: Extended hours don't guarantee booking slots; confirm availability well in advance, especially for weekend time slots
• Cancellation and payment terms: Clarify deposit requirements, refund policies, and any additional fees (setup, cleaning, damage deposit) before committing
